Peter J. Hall, SIOR, is currently Senior Vice President and Senior Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis Limited, having joined the organization in a managerial capacity at the Toronto West office in 1994 after 7 years as a sales professional with J.J. Barnicke/ONCOR International and prior to that as a partner in the Hamilton based ICI real estate firm known as McCaw Hall Inc. Before entering commercial real estate in 1980, Peter enjoyed 10 years as a Hamilton based general contractor.

The Toronto West office has a staff of 71, including 38 sales professionals specializing in Corporate Services, industrial, office and investment real estate and 7 trainees and has had the distinction of being the #1 or #2 CB Richard Ellis office in Canada since 1996. Peter credits the success of the office as a direct result of the professionals embracement of "teaming" with no less than 13 "teams" ranging in size from 2 to 5 supported by a marketing assistant, to better serve their clients. In 2006, the Toronto West office had another record year recognizing 2 professionals in the Top 10 in Canada and 4 in the Top 20 amongst 260 professionals from all functional specialties.

In addition, Peter holds the same title for the Waterloo office, which he has managed since March 2003, with a staff of 16, including 7 professionals and two trainees. At present, three (3) teams are operational. The Waterloo Region office is home to the top producer in Southwestern Ontario, Michael Rouse, who had a remarkable 2005, finishing as the #8 ranked professional in Canada.

Peter has served as President of SIOR Canada (Society of Industrial Office Realtors) in 1998 and 2000 with responsibility for the Eastern, Western and Central Canadian Chapters of SIOR. He was President of the Central Canadian Chapter in 1997 and has been active in the Chapter for many years, serving on the executive for 6 years. Peter joined SIOR as a Sales Affiliate in 1983 and as an Active Industrial member in 1986. Peter is currently Vice Chair of International Admissions for SIOR.
