John was the first broker in Edmonton to receive the prestigious SIOR (Specialist, Industrial and Office Real Estate) designation awarded by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, an international association of professional commercial real estate brokers.

Community Involvement: Past President of both the Ridge Community League and South West Area Council of Community League Presidents. As the leader of the Industrial Division at Cushman & Wakefield Edmonton, John manages the activities of eight top flight brokers, three of whom he mentored through their formative years in the industry. Cushman's comprehensive Industrial database contains over 4,000 properties in the Edmonton area and enables John to closely track key opportunities.

John's impressive accomplishments include successful industrial lease transactions in excess of 6,000,000 sq. ft., coordinating the development of serviced Industrial Land Sales in excess of 2,500 acres and residential, multi-family and commercial land sales in excess of 500 acres.

He has extensive experience in the planning, acquisition, sub-division, and servicing of all types of development land.

Samples of the outstanding transactions John has recently completed include: 125,000 sq. ft. lease transaction for General Dynamics, 52 Acre, one million sq. ft. buildable, development site sale to Bentall Properties, Site selection and 62 Acre land sale to Sysco Food Services, 130 acre land sale to Sun Life, 300,000 sq. ft. lease transaction for MTE Logistics Inc.,
