This past Monday, July 29th, the SIOR Canada Central Chapter (SIOR CCC) hosted the 52nd annual SIOR CCC Golf Tournament at Rattlesnake Point in Milton. With a bright and early start, 250+ golfers teed off at 8:30 AM, setting the stage for a day filled with camaraderie and competition.
The beautiful weather was the perfect backdrop for a day of golf and networking. On the course, guests enjoyed the convenience of golf carts sponsored by the Orlando Corporation and refreshed themselves with beverages provided by Morguard. BDC’s $10,000 hole-in-one challenge added a layer of excitement to the day.
Guests received gifts such as golf balls, hats, and water bottles, and enjoyed breakfast and sustenance, all courtesy of the Mantella Corporation. They also enjoyed complimentary ice cream from Stubbe’s and welcome drinks from Spear Realty before the presentation and luncheon.

At the luncheon, we paid tribute to our beloved colleague, Jeff Dobbin of Morguard, who passed away in June, whose memory was celebrated at the golf luncheon. Jeff's contributions to the SIOR community were immense, and his presence was sorely missed. In his honour, we encouraged donations at the golf luncheon and also recommended continuing support through the GoFundMe campaign to assist his family during this difficult time.
