As we catch our breaths and warm up after two exhilarating days at Craigleith Ski Club, it's hard to believe that the much-anticipated SIOR CCC Ski Day has come and gone.

Held on January 24th and 25th, this year's event was nothing short of spectacular, bringing together industry professionals for an unforgettable blend of networking, skiing, and winter wonder.

The Kick-off Social: A Prelude to Connection

The festivities kicked off on the evening of January 25th with a social gathering at Fire Hall Pizza in the Blue Mountains. This pre-ski soiree, hosted by our sponsors, set the tone for the camaraderie and connections. Attendees enjoyed a delightful selection of beverages courtesy of Leeswood Construction, and food stations provided by Prologis, ensuring the evening was as delicious as it was delightful.

A Day on the Slopes

The main event on January 26th saw a brilliant turnout, with skiers of all skill levels taking to the slopes. From seasoned experts carving up the runs to first-timers finding their snow legs, the day was a testament to the inclusive spirit of the SIOR community.

The overall experience was directly attributable to the support from our event sponsors. Contributions from Dream enabled a seamless registration process. GWL Realty Advisors supplied Danish-made Glerups slippers for post-ski relaxation, enhancing attendee comfort. Metrus Properties provided a hearty breakfast, energizing participants for the day, while Orlando Corporation delivered a delicious lunch to sustain energy levels. Granite ensured that beverages were available for participants to celebrate their achievements on the slopes.

Prizes and Surprises

The spirit of friendly competition was alive and well, with Colliers offering not one, but two raffle prizes, adding an extra layer of excitement to the proceedings. The highlight, however, was the announcement of our winners during the event. Jeff Sinsofsky clinched the dinner gift card from Dream, while Ginger Whitney and Robert Perusco were the lucky recipients of spa gift cards, offering a perfect way to unwind after the physical exertions of the day.

Looking Back, Looking Forward

As we reflect on the success of the SIOR CCC Ski Day 2024, we're reminded of the importance of taking time to connect with our peers outside of the boardroom. The laughter, stories, and shared experiences on the slopes and at the social gatherings strengthen our professional network and create lasting memories.

To those who attended, thank you for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to the Blue Mountains.

Thank you to all our sponsors, without whom this event would not have been possible: Leeswood, Prologis, Dream, GWL Realty Advisors, Metrus Properties, Orlando Corporation, Granite, and Colliers. Your support and generosity are what make events like this a resounding success.

And to those who missed out, we hope to see you next year for another round of winter fun and professional networking. Until then, keep the spirit of the SIOR CCC Ski Day alive – on the slopes and in your professional endeavors.
