Toronto, Ontario — SIOR Canada Central Chapter is pleased to announce the appointments of Luis Almeida, SIOR, as the new president, and Kathy Kolodziej, SIOR, as the new vice-president.
Luis Almeida
Luis Almeida, executive vice-President at JLL, has over a decade of commercial real estate experience, consistently ranking as a top-producing broker in Toronto. He specializes in providing strategic insights and market analysis. “I am excited to step into this leadership role and continue the exceptional work SIOR Canada Central Chapter has done to support its members and the broader industry,” said Luis.
Before JLL, Luis held senior roles at Lee & Associates and Cushman & Wakefield, building a reputation for delivering outstanding results for clients.
Kathy Kolodziej
Kathy Kolodziej, senior vice-president at JLL, brings 25 years of real estate experience, with a focus on managing complex public and private corporate real estate portfolios. She currently works with JLL’s industrial team, leading tenant representation and agency leasing. “I look forward to contributing to SIOR Canada Central Chapter’s vision and helping to advance its goals,” said Kathy.
Kathy has led the Canada Post Transaction Advisory Services team, where she oversaw over 350 transactions annually. She has also worked with CML Health Care, the Region of Peel, and SNC Lavalin/Nexacor.

As president and vice-president of the SIOR Canada Central Chapter, Luis and Kathy play key roles in the SIOR Canada Council. This council is composed of executives from all three chapters: SIOR Canada Central, SIOR Canada East, and SIOR Canada West. Together, they collaborate to strengthen the organization's presence and impact across the country.
